Q&A

Questions people usually ask

Life happens, and people do miss sessions. All nine group sessions will be recorded and available privately to participants, so if you can’t make one, you can watch the replay and do the practices on your own. You can also use the community space to share reflections or connect with the group about what you missed.

That said, ILI is a live experience, and your presence matters. There are a few sessions I especially encourage you to protect: our opening session, where we set our intentions and agreements for the three months; the Peer Input sessions; and our final closing session.

Neither. ILI is not therapy, a coaching group or a mastermind. It is a facilitated practice group. I teach and guide, but much of the experience happens through reflection, inquiry, guided practice, partner conversation and peer relationship, applied to real questions in your actual life.

ILI isn’t a substitute for therapy or clinical support, and sometimes something that emerges through this work may make you realize you’d like support beyond the group. If that happens, we can talk about what might be helpful. Individual intuitive mentorship with me may also be available separately.

No. Most people arrive having had some relationship with intuition without necessarily calling it that: the feeling of knowing something before you can fully explain how, or transformational experiences that may have shifted how you take in or lead in your own life.

What matters far more is a willingness to listen, experiment and participate. It is worth saying plainly that this work sits close to the intuitive and, at times, the spiritual. As one participant put it, what helps is coming open and with some connection to your inner world.

You don’t need one. Some people arrive with a decision, transition or relationship they want to explore. Others have come through a season, or even years, of significant change, loss or simply doing what life required of them, and feel ready to get curious about who they are now.

You might simply want more room to listen to yourself, explore what you’re drawn toward, or imagine things you haven’t let yourself imagine in a while.

ILI can be just as meaningful when you arrive with curiosity. Sometimes the question becomes clearer once you give yourself room to listen.

There are nine 90-minute group sessions, plus two 50-minute individual sessions with me.

Beyond that, the commitment is modest and largely yours to shape: reflection prompts between sessions, some preparation before your Peer Input session, and whatever time you choose to spend in the community space.

There is no homework and nothing is graded. ILI is meant to be practiced in the life you’re already living, not become another thing you need to keep up with.

Yes. Group sessions are recorded and shared privately with participants in the cohort. You can use the recordings to catch a session you’ve missed, revisit a guided practice or reflection, or return to something that was useful to you.

I may use recordings of my own teaching to develop future ILI resources, but participant contributions will never be shared or repurposed without explicit permission.

ILI is a small cohort, and your place is held specifically for you. For that reason, registration is non-refundable once the program begins.

This is also why I encourage anyone who isn’t sure whether ILI is right for them to have a conversation with me before enrolling. I want you to feel good about the commitment you’re making, and I want to feel confident that the group is a good fit for you too.

Of course, life can change in ways we can’t anticipate. If an exceptional circumstance significantly affects your ability to participate, please talk to me and we’ll figure out what is possible.

This Winter 2026–27 cohort is for women. Past participants have told me that being in a group of women wasn’t incidental to their experience. It became part of what made the experience meaningful.

Future cohorts may look different. If you’re drawn to ILI and aren’t sure whether this particular cohort is for you, you’re always welcome to reach out.

Absolutely. If ILI feels relevant to your leadership or professional development, your organization is very welcome to sponsor your participation.

And if you’re a leader reading this and thinking of someone on your team, I’m happy to talk with you too. Because this is a personal experience as much as a professional one, I would still want the person joining to choose it for themselves and connect with me before enrolling.

I live and work in Collingwood, Ontario, within the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

The work of inner leadership and stepping into wholeness begins with remembering the lands, waters, and human histories that hold us. I honour the First Nations and Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial. From this remembering, we are called to act with more humility, responsibility, care, and commitment to reconciliation and repair.
